If you registered a copy of TimeTracker 2.0 or less on or before September 16, 1994, you can upgrade free to TimeTracker 2.1 or later versions. However, you will need a new “registration code” from Maui Software. Contact Maui Software for your new registration code(s).
If you registered a copy of TimeTracker 2.0 after September 16, 1994, and you want to upgrade to TimeTracker 2.1 or later, contact Maui Software for upgrade information. Our addresses are in the file “How To contact Maui Software.”
Why do you need a new registration code?
1) The registration code now requires your first and last name. Previously only your first name was OK.
2) The software license in earlier versions of TimeTracker was somewhat different than the current license. Please read the file “License Agreement • PLEASE READ” before requesting your new registration code. Basically, the license states “one copy per user.” In other words, you cannot buy just one copy and give it to all your friends—each person must register their own copy.
IMPORTANT TECHNICAL NOTE: If you start TimeTracker 2.0 after using version 2.1 or later, the earlier version may crash. If so, trash the file “TimeTracker Prefs” found in the Preferences folder within the System folder.
